My love for food started at a very young age. My grandmother would give me produce from our family farm and I would constantly dream up new recipes. My after school chores always revolved around food. I loved helping pick the cherries from the coffee trees because I was able to sneak a few (they taste like honey and sweet mangos). Through my childhood experiences, I not only grew the passion to create good food, but learned the levels of dedication needed for the craft of Culinary Arts. Two years into college I changed my field of study to follow my heart and enrolled in Culinary school. My education there has provided me the knowledge that made transitioning into a professional kitchen easier.
